Joce Nuttall accepts invitation to the Victorian Government’s Ministerial Expert Panel on Early Childhood

Associate Professor Joce Nuttall Program Director of the Early Childhood Futures Research Program in the Learning Sciences Institute Australia at ACU, has accepted the invitation of Victorian Minister for Families and Children, Jenny Mikakos MP, to join her Ministerial Expert Panel for Early Childhood Development. The appointment is for two years with meetings held every quarter and chaired by the Minister.

The Panel will provide input and advice to the Victorian Government on strengths, challenges and opportunities to improve the learning and development outcomes of children in the early years, with an emphasis on the Government’s reform process. The nine-member panel is multi-disciplinary, with a mixture of early childhood, Koori health, public health, and parenting academics and advocates.

On behalf of the LSIA we congratulate Associate Professor Nuttall on her appointment, which recognises her international reputation for expertise in early years workforce development.
